Butterscotch Ice Cream

This ice cream is gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free


Ice Cream Ingredients

250g dairy free butter
½ cup coconut sugar or maple syrup
800ml coconut cream


 Method

  1. Place butter and sugar or syrup in a saucepan on low heat. Melt and whisk together.
  2. Whisk in the coconut cream
  3. Simmer for 3-5 minutes

Finishing

  1. Allow to cool
  2. Pour into container
  3. Place in the freezer for approximately 8+ hours or until set.

To Serve

  1. Take ice cream out of freezer about 10-15 minutes before serving to soften slightly
  2. Top with fruit of your choice or have it plain.

Storage

Keep in an air tight container in the freezer.
