This hummus is gluten free, dairy free, refined-sugar free, vegan
1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
6 tablespoons lemon juice
4 tablespoons tahini
2 cloves garlic, chopped
Salt to taste
5-6 tablespoons of olive oil
- Put all ingredients into a blender and blend.
- Add more water until there is a smooth, creamy texture.
You can also add other herbs and spices such as turmeric, cumin, fresh coriander or basil.
Keep in an air tight container in the fridge or freezer.
